About ISO 9001:2008

Having already acquired ISO 9001:2000 certification, Tricom yet surpasses another milestone reflecting its dedication to quality and customer satisfaction, through its transition to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System - TRICOM has demonstrated its commitment to a highly effective quality system, continual quality improvement, and to focusing on providing extra value to its customers.

As an ISO 9001:2008-certified company, TRICOM has implemented and maintains a quality management system to ensure its ability to consistently provide products and services that satisfy customers' needs and regulatory requirements. This system focuses on customer satisfaction and include guidelines for continued improvement, consistency in products and services, and compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.

ISO 9001:2008 is the internationally recognized quality management system that insures that a company's customers can count on a consistent level of quality products and services. About ISO 27001:2005

Tricom previously had been certified under BS 7799 certifications. The ISO 27001 standard replaces the previous internationally recognized British Standard, BS 7799.

These certifications demonstrate the level of importance placed by the company on security, and confirms our ability to maintain the confidentiality of the data entrusted to us.

Tricom’s current strategic business plan and risk management framework provide the context for identifying, assessing, evaluating and controlling information-related risks through the establishment and maintenance of an Information Management System. The implementation of this policy is vital in maintaining our integrity as a partner of choice for the numerous industry leaders whose data we process. This certification provides further insight into Tricom’s dedication to strong security and processes instituted to forestall future threats for offshore services.

ISO 27001:2005 is a standard that establishes the requirements for an information security management system (ISMS). The certificate outlines the rules for defining, establishing, implementing, operating, reviewing, monitoring, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within the context of an organization's overall business risks. The ISO 27001:2005 certification confirms that confidential information is not left openly visible by employees and that they are aware of and adheres to legal requirements, and guarantees that a company practicing this security management system has adequate and appropriate security controls in place.
